Even if it’s a one-time donation, send an email or postcard to thank them for being a part of your organization. Tell them about what you have accomplished with their help and present opportunities for them to support your upcoming activities. Give them a small token like a sticker or a keychain that will remind them of their contribution to your charity. How donating to the Red Cross helps those in need

The Red Cross is one of the most popular if not the most known nonprofit institutions on the planet. Founded in 1881 by Clara Barton, the institution has since helped millions of people in poverty-stricken areas, victims of wars and political unrests, and those affected by various natural calamities.

Donating to the Red Cross allows us to help rebuild the lives of our fellow human beings, aiding them in their struggle to rise above various adversities. After all, the Red Cross is humanitarian in nature, made up of volunteers who abide by the mission-vision of providing much-needed relief worldwide. Aside from this, the nonprofit also offers educational training to help deal with future emergencies.

We’ve to keep in mind that the Red Cross’ commitment to humanitarian endeavors keeps it operating outside the jurisdiction or funding of the government. It operates solely through donations made to it by the public. Without the continuous influx of contributions, the nonprofit essentially won’t be able to pursue its mission of preventing and relieving all forms of suffering.
